Squishy Circuits uses conductive play dough and insulating play dough to teach electrical circuits basics in a fun, hands-on way. There’s no need for breadboards or soldering – just add batteries and ourpre-made doughs(or make your own dough with ourrecipes). Let your creations come to life as you light them up with LEDs, make a little bit of noise with buzzers, and spin with the motor.

Squishy Circuits is fun, easy, and inspires creativity! Projects use two play doughs – one that is conductive and one that is insulative. Power comes from a 4AA battery pack and travels through the conductive dough to provide power to LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes), buzzers, or motors.

Conductive dough is dough that allows electricity (electric current) to flow through it.

Insulating or insulative dough does not allow electricity (electric current) to flow through it.

Absolutely! We offerrecipesfor both conductive dough and insulating dough, and ingredients can be found in any local grocery store.

Squishy Circuits is the safest conductive dough for learning about electrical circuits available today. We take the safety of our creators very seriously and meet all child safety regulations.

Squishy Circuits is for kids and adults of any age! Safety recommendations suggest that any child under the age of 8 use Squishy Circuits only under adult supervision.

Squishy Circuits has been used in educational settings worldwide for all ages, from preschools to senior living facilities. We’ve inspired learning and creativity in all 50 states and in more than 25 countries. Squishy Circuits has even been invited to the White House!

We pride ourselves on high-quality components that should last for years. However, we treat the dough and the LEDs as consumables that will need to be replaced every few hours.
